Hi guys,

I've got a question, my friend joined 02 in Jan and got a blackberry bold 9770 however they went from an iphone to this phone to the BB. The person in question now wants an iphone back, I'm posting on here because they wont go in to the 02 shop or phone them because they dont like speaking to people.

So my question is whats the best way to get to an iphone, it was a 2 yr contract started in Jan cost is £35 a month. Can you upgrade your contract and pay more for a iphone contract and trade your phone in and pay the difference or buy the contract out?

Any help would be appreciated.

They won't speak to staff in a phone shop, or even on the phone? :o

Anyway, they'll have to pay off the contract until their upgrade date and then they can upgrade to a different phone, they just need to switch the data plan from the BB one to the iPhone one, as the 'person ;)' won't need the BIS bolt-on on an iPhone. The contract may only increase if the person wants a free phone (to pay nothing for the upgrade).

Also, the new iPhone is out in 40~ days so there's no point getting one right now. Wait.

If he doesn't like speaking to people, why spend the best part of £900 for a two year contract on an iPhone? Tell him to get an iPod Touch and keep the Blackberry.
