Contracts seem to be getting ridiculous in price!

is it actually worth ringing 3 as a new customer to get a better deal than advertised on-line? does this actually work?

...

Don't forget that the £37 is just the 'Print' price - you could EASILY knock that down to £32 by directly ringing 3 Sales team.

...

Indeed. Three seems to be the one of cheapest networks at the moment.

I am currently using a jailbroken iPhone 3GS (which can be a Nokia Lumia 800 if I just ask my company for one) with a 3 All-in-one £15 topup (which I renew each month) that gives me 300 anytime any-network minutes, 3000 3-to-3 mins, 3000 texts and unlimited data. I am a big data user (~8 GB /month) and 300 mins is enough for me.

Regarding tethering on 3, they now have systems in place to detect this and people with the £3 all you can eat add-on are reporting being sent to a holding page when trying to thether.

They only seem to be policing this on the new £3 add-on for now from what ive read online, but this could change at any time.

3 allow tethering on the One plan and the Internet Max 2Gb add-on for other plans only...

Cheers
