My pc is a bit old and due an upgrade 6700k 1080 graphics card. Will upgrade at some point and play it at max settings.

Yeh, it ran fine for me on my last PC, an oc'd X5650 and a 1070, but it's a lot better (visual) experience with RTX on.

From memory you could stick with a relatively small amount of the weapons and skills

Stick with? Sure. But the game just showered those things and you had limited storage so you either had to just stop collecting them altogether or you had to frequently clean out your inventory of junk in order to pick up new ones. It was just a bad system all around (especially since the pickups were generally pretty weak) - I'd have preferred to see a simple skill tree system with you picking up XP (or whatever) to upgrade branches on the tree.

I think Control is a great game but I can't replay it 'cause that system sucked soooo badly.

Yeah I do have memories of that but the storyline and gfx etc really made up for it... I might give it another play tbh

I got bored very quickly of the first one, tried to pick it up again but just found it repetitive.

Glad I'm not the only one. I got it free on Epic Games a while back, so nothing paid. I might give it another try now I have a Steam Deck. I can see the deck being an ideal system to play it on.

I'm surprised at some of you that found it "boring" I have a hard time playing single player games when I am so used to competitive or at least multiplayer games with a small community of peeps. Control was one of the few games that just fully engrossed me from start to finish :]
