Can you control PC games volumes via the volume control on my earphones, some how?

You mean the volume control in Windows in the bottom right corner of the desktop or physically control volume with a dial on the headphones themselves?
Windows - right click the speaker taskbar icon > Open Volume Mixer and adjust volumes.
