Is there an elegant way to control iTunes on a Win7 machine (which acts as a home server) from another Win7 on the network?

Alternatively/Also, is there a nice way for network users to be able to choose a local media file and have it added to the server playlist - so network users can choose their own files or files from the server to play, and the server will play them iTunes-DJ-stylee?

Thanks for any help!

If you want to do this why choose itunes do you have an iphone or ipod touch?

I am pretty sure Windows media player does this.

edit: my awful typing, i really need to proof read my posts

iTunes isn't required, it's just good at handling large libraries and the users are familiar with it!
WMP is not so elegant ;) And I don't know of a way to start playing a file on another machine with it?

if you have a homegroup set up then right click the file -> play to
I have a home server set up and can play files from my media server to any machine in the house or from machine to machine. It also allows me to play to my blu ray play and have the server render the file and the bluray just act as a slave. Personal opinion i know but i think the WMP library is pretty nice to deal with.
Don't have a smart tv yet so can't try that.
