I'm now in the middle of my new build and need to pick your brains.
I have an Obsidian 800D. XSPC RX360 Rad, top mounted with 3 x Akasa Apache Black fans attached drawing air into the case.
If I don't control these will they run at full speed when connected directly to the mobo?
Will each fan have to be connected to a separate fan header?
Can the fans be spliced/connected together and run from one header on the mobo, bearing in mind that the current for these will be 0.33amps/fan?
Should I just opt for a controller and run the 3 Apaches from one header on the controller or separately?
Do you have any other options that I could consider.... There'll be 6 fans in total.
Akasa fan Specs:
Dimension 120 X 120 X 25mm
Fan speed 600 -1300 RPM
Max airflow 57.53 CFM (97.74 m3/h)
Max static air pressure 2.64 mm H2O
Noise level 6.9 -16.05 dB(A)
Current rating 0.33A
Voltage rating 12V DC
Bearing HDB (Hydro Dynamic)
Fan life expectancy 50,000 hours
Connector 4pin PWM
Product code AK-FN058
EDIT:
Well I think I just answered part of my question by using the almighty search function, albeit after posting this.... Sorry!!!

Each fan will draw 3.96watts so 11.88w on one channel will be fine.
TIA.
