So do none of you guys recommend a Steering wheel for this? I got a copy of GRId with my 4870x2 and haven't installed it yet as I have nothing to use. I have heard it is impossible with keys.

i wouldn't recommend the steering wheel for this game simply because if you have the 360 controller, you only need that for all different types of game whereas a wheel is only good for racing.
Valid point. I was thinking I'm not actually that big on racing games and once the novelty had worn off it is ujst another impulsive buy to litter my room.
Where as a 360 bat I might use it for footy etc.....

The G25 has 900 degrees of rotation. Much much easier for drifting than a joypad. A decent wheel such as the G25 is 10 times better than the 360pad on all racing games. It makes me laugh that a lot of folks spend £100's on big screens, graphics cards, mouses, keyboards, speakers, and then make do with a £14.99 joypad to play racing games. Kinda defeats the object of realistic gaming. Also what the point in using the 360 contoller for any other type of game? The only real use for it is racing games and even then it's not exactly exciting. On the other hand for £14.99, it's a bargain.
This drifting looks fun. The bloke is a nob, and i dont think much of the initialD music either
with an arcade game like GRID I don't think a wheel is any more realistic than a pad, except it looks like a wheel. To say that a wheel is better in all racing games is a bit of a big blanket.
Of course it is. You turn the wheel left & right just like you would in a real car. You have pedals and a gearstick just like a real car. You dont use your thumbs like you would with a joypad. The steering goes light when you go over jumps, it rumbles when you go over the gravel, and it tries to turn the opposite way when oversteering and it's a lot more fun! How can you say a joypad is the same realisticly when all it does is rumble?
i started out on grid with keys... it is harder with no throttle response, on or off with all things brake steering etc.. im getting a G25 soon as it looks to be the most realistic combo out there..
ive not been able to find a definitive list of supported games for the 6 shift but i know GRID and the new GTR Evolution, NFS Carbon & Pro Street support it.
EDIT: the 360 controller is much better than the keyboard so for £15 id definately get one!
