Ive only just noticed that you can get 360 controllers for the PC, does that mean the ones I use for my 360 at the min will work? OR are they seperate items that just look the same and will only work with pc or 360?

Cheers

Sheldon

They are cross platform, all 360 controllers will work. They seem to be an essential piece of kit for PC gamers nowadays. Shame the Dpad is pants.

if it's a wireless one, you need to get a separate receiver for the PC, but apart from that the pads are cross platform :)

Can't believe I ever played geometry wars with kb/mouse!

i've got 2 ps2 pads for stuff like pro evo (as the d-pad on the 360 pad is total pony) and one xBox360 pad for other single players which require an analogue shoulder button (like grid, GTA etc..)

same here

games i use the ps2 pad for (dunno if it even works in vista)
Tony Hawk
NHL
Fifa

games i use 360 pad for
GRID
-all racing games!

can't beat the PS2 pad for some games (especially tony hawk)

PS2 pad for emulators (Snes, Genesis, Mame)
360 pad for everything else :)

Having one of each, as said previously, is necessary!

bledd, my dualshock2 works fine in vista64 :)

Although it's more to do with the PS2/USB adaptor than the pad.. I'm currently using a superjoy adaptor.

360 pad > All when it comes to PC gamepads. Most modern games that are available on the 360 come with preconfigured setups for the 360 pad too.
