Two girls sit next to me on the bus to college. They obviously have class together, although they're not friends as such. The one girl is doing all the talking (constantly.....so the whole bus can hear....you know the type...) and the other girl is very passive. After 10 mins or so the quiet girl, out of absolutely nowhere, asks the chatty girl "Do you know if there's a meth clinic around here anywhere?". The chatty girl manages "errrrr....meth clinic?", to which the quiet girl clarifies "yeah, you know, for if you're addicted to heroine". Chatty girl, finally lost for words, says "god....errrr....I don't know. Sorry". And for the remaining 10 mins of the trip they don't say a word
I can't work out if this was a tactically brilliant maneuverer by the quiet girl, or if she really did want to know
Whatever, it was brilliant.
Any other examples?
