Two girls sit next to me on the bus to college. They obviously have class together, although they're not friends as such. The one girl is doing all the talking (constantly.....so the whole bus can hear....you know the type...) and the other girl is very passive. After 10 mins or so the quiet girl, out of absolutely nowhere, asks the chatty girl "Do you know if there's a meth clinic around here anywhere?". The chatty girl manages "errrrr....meth clinic?", to which the quiet girl clarifies "yeah, you know, for if you're addicted to heroine". Chatty girl, finally lost for words, says "god....errrr....I don't know. Sorry". And for the remaining 10 mins of the trip they don't say a word :D

I can't work out if this was a tactically brilliant maneuverer by the quiet girl, or if she really did want to know :) Whatever, it was brilliant.

Any other examples?

I hope that she was just asking to shut the other girl up, if so that is an absolute masterstroke.

I've heard of a few Americans using "Pursuant to Megan's Law I must inform you that I'm a convicted sex offender" as a chat up line, I'd personally have thought it would be an excellent conversation killer but what do I know?

EDIT: deleted because people can't just take someones word for it and need proof that it happened.

It happened and if all you're gunna do is just pick it apart because you don't believe it I might as well have not told what happened.

I once interupted some guy who started talking to me randomly on the bus (about something inane and irritating) to shut him up.

Here's how it went:

HIM: so as I was-
ME: do you know what a three year olds vagina smells like?
HIM:.........no?
ME: *holds up fingers to his nose in menacing manner*
HIM: *moves to a different seat 5 rows away*
ME: *puts legs up and gets back to reading magazine*

It was epic :D

er....

I have a very VERY sick sense of humor that I only bring out when people annoy me :p

I'm lovely really!

Also just to clarify, I have no idea what it smells like and hope to never ever find out :|

That's either tragic or brilliant!

ME: Have you ever tried seance masturbation?
THEM: What?
ME: It's when you're lying there, cracking one off, and you suddenly wonder if any of your dead relatives are watching you....

'Oh yeah, I was raped by my father as a kid, it's no big deal now though'

Conversation's off, I'm headed home.

some woman who was talking to my wife while she was waiting for the kids to come out just came out with the exact same thing and she was serious....

i just thought to myself why the hell would you go around telling people that?

yesterday her and another friend of hers was telling my wife "you should come to the literacy classes , its easy you just have to pick out words that are misspelt from a sentence"...

my wife has 5 or so GCSE's so shes not exactly thick.

I have heard many many times of horror stories about women just coming out with rape stories at the most inopportune times in the most casual tone possible. I never expected some bint to drop the bombshell on me. I didn't know what the hell to say or do, but it felt like a giant brick on my back right after. **** that. We still speak but I made it clear that was just a ridiculous thing to come out with and I know it's black-hearted of me, but I just didn't want to know. If you're 'not bothered' don't ****ing open your mouth then.

It's hard to understand what it's like to be told stuff like that, until you've gone through it yourself.
