Over there...
Hi

I've read lots about using ATX PSUs to power 360s, but i wondered if there was anyway to convert a 360 brick to power a PC?

Doing this would make a silent ~250W PSU and enable one to use ITX boards, in smaller cases with powerful components...

Any thoughts?

The 360 power brick isn't 250w it's about 205w and that is the old models I just can't see it having enough power to run a modern system.

i'm not talking about a quadcore SLI rig, i'm talking about a medium spec C2D, modo, 2.5" HDD and a GPU that would play something like COD4/L4D respectably at higher resolutions...

(Basically a LAN PC)

EDIT: Having read some reviews a HD4770, i7 quad system seemed to draw 205W under load. So this would be viable with a low power C2D, mini-ITX board and something like the 47xx series
