I did now and again get people washing their windscreens in the car infront, which means that I became lemony fresh while following with the roof down.

Not a convertable but some ass threw a full coffee cup out the window. Covered my entire screen whilst I was going 60... It was really sudden but luckily I did not panic and I was able to use the wipers straight away.

I just do not under stand why people do it, what will they do if the car becomes involved in an accident. Laugh and drive off?

The mileage thing is an interesting one. I'm on a 6k limited mileage policy on one car. I told the insurer that currently the speedo drive doesn't work therefore it isn't going up. Also that the clocks mileage is different to that of the engine and that I intend to replace the clocks meaning what is displayed could be anything.

They said no problem, just record the mileage you do and let us know when you change the clocks.

Not had anyone throw anything at the mx5 but had some little **** throw a foot long piece of 2x4 of a bridge at me when I was driving down a dual carriageway. Bounced off the bonnet and windscreen leaving 2 big dents. Lucky the screen didnt go through!

To say I crapped myself would be an understatement. How I managed to keep the car straight and on the road I have no idea!

Someone threw a (filled!) bap at my wife while she was driving, straight through the window and hit her upside the head, I'd probably have been raging if it wasn't such a great shot.

Some Children tried to spit off a bridge into my car, missed fortunately.

Also R220 of this forum was eating a donut with chocolate fondent on the top and he dropped it on the seat so he decided to throw it out the back to get rid of it and it was taken by the air and just splatted all over the down hood and boot
