Is there any way this can be done without knowing it? Reason I ask is that I have a dual boot XP/Linux machine and had a 3rd NTFS partition mounted in Linux with no issues. All of a sudden my Linux o/s can't access the partition and when I check it in Windows, it appears to be a dynamic disk (Linux lists it as 'SFS') rather than NTFS.
Could anything do this conversion without me knowing it? I don't mess about with my disks once they're working, and don't believe I could have accidentally converted it...
