Converting Video for Mobile6

Hi All,

Have a HTC Touch running mobile6 and want to play videos from my Vista PC on it but I can get sound but no video with an error

"Video codec (Windows Media Video 9 Advanced profile) not supported by the player!
"

I posted in the mobile forum and purchased CorePlayer but still doesn't work, emailed support and was told the new release will fix this, it hasn't

One of the videos is a GTA4 trailer, also other videos don't stream to my Xbox360 again codec issue I guess,


Is there a converter and what format should I convert too? Free is good but if its a tenner that's OK it's sooooooo frustrating and I know nothing about this,

I use a PDA running WM2003 & phone/PDA running WM5 . I convert my videos to divx to view . I use SompyPlayer for my Wm2003 device to view the vids ,many created by PocketDivxencoder0.3.50 ,same vids play on my phone .I use TCPMP as a player on my Wm5 device. Great viewers and free too .Sompy also do a free encoder too :SompyMovieEncoder.
Wouldn't know if anything like this would work on your WM6 , but I would have thought it should.
