I have a mail merge to do with a leaflet style design.

I have my word document which is around 700kb and I have 1300 names to merge.

I've merged them into 13 individual files (1-100, 101-200 etc) however when I try to save them as PDF it compresses everything even if I select no compression.

Is there another way around this?

Cheers

Can't work out if Word is causing me issues here but even when using the CutePDF or PrimoPDF it still doesn't seem to save in a reasonable DPI as I need 300minimum for printing purposes.

Anyone have any ideas?

What is your default printer set as? I've seen some weird PDF creation issues when a basic printer is set as the default. God knows why it becomes an issue as you're changing the 'printer' anyway to save as PDF.

It seems to use parts of the default printer driver to create the PDF.

Just a regular Networked printer although it seems to have the same result whether I do it on my work network or at home.

I even tried opening the Original Word file in MS Publisher and trying from there, this increased the DPI to around 220dpi but still not what is needed.

Use a pdf printer, you find the odd file that causes issues. Or try using Google Docs to save it as PDF.
