I think personally that 200 quid with that board isn't great, I sold a Maximus IV extreme for under 100 quid, 2500k's can be had sub 100 occasionally.

I sold my 2600k and got £120 on fleabay.

Want a newer i7 (currently have a 930) but flea market prices for a good 2600/2700K + MOBO are silly

I've seen a 3770K go for 130 lol.
Go to the members market.

You're looking at 150 tops for an i7.
Then you can get a Z68 board for about 50 quid.

I mean as me and Oldest Greg have demonstrated, we sold a a 2600K and top end board for just about 210 quid together lol.

Not sure if it's worth upgrading a Nehalem i7 (930) to a Sandybridge to be honest. There's only 1 generation in it and it won't be much faster.

Either go Ivy Bridge or Haswell as at least you either jump up two generations or three...
