Cookbooks on your Christmas list?

Well it's about that time of year where you have to write the letter to santa and tell the family what the hell you want for Christmas this year, any of you asked for any cook books?

I have given them a few ideas for me:

Nathan Outlaws,
The Galvins cookbook,
Hawksmoor at home,
POLPO,
Michael Roux the collection,
J.Sheeky - Fish,
Eleven Madison Park: The Cookbook,
The Square - the cookbook,
The Complete Nose to Tail: A Kind of British Cooking,
The Family Meal: Home Cooking with Ferran Adria,
The Complete Robuchon

This should get them started! Ha Oh, and I just bought Sat Bains book and bought the Mrs the Great British bake off showstopper one. I like new cookbooks!

I've got so many that i havent really used - i think that i'll get Jamie's 15 min meals. Seen a couple of the episodes and they look okay.

I have loads yet to do anything from, or something, but I love cookbooks. They're just great reads too!

Sort of related but do you know of any good cook books that have been converted to ebooks (in a non-sucky way I mean).

I have no hestons. I might have a look and see. I flicked through the search of perfection one though and wasn't blown away. The singular modernist cuisine might be a good one.
Has to be better than paying the 300quid for the set of 5!

Picked up one of the Humming Bird books for the other half. Was a bit pricey but hopefully it will pay off

Absolutely awesome books! I got a brouchure with one of them, with more books in. I'm resisting... not very well. In fact there are 6 books in there. Wondering if I can buy some and give them to the Mrs for Christmas, just so I can have them lol that sounds like a great plan actually.

Having just read the write-up of the Square: Savoury I think I'm going to stick with my initial choice of some of the River Cottage series, particularly Veg and the new Three Good Things sounds intriguing.

Don't think I'll be entering Masterchef any time soon!

Definitely one to put on the list!
