Cooking a curry - how difficult is it?

english style indian curry shouldnt take longer than 3 minutes to make from scratch

a proper authentic indian curry will take at least an hour, usually takes my chef who does it everyday, 6 days a week at least an hour to make the staff curry

but i doubt any of you have ever tasted a proper curry and wanna stick to the same crap you have gotten used to eating

I made curry once in boy's brigade, we had an indian leader and he taught us how, it wsa actually great fun, and I enjoy making curries still.

What the ****? Who the hell are you?

see the curries you eat from takeaways and restaurants are pure garbage and are nothing like a real curry

the fact my family also owns an indian restaurant and my family has made curries in the house authentically since forever - i think i would know a hell of a lot more on the subject than you

people in the uk seem to think food colouring and buffet's are amazing - ROFL if they only knew the truth - i used to work in a different restaurant - before we bought ours and they used to leave food in their buffet for up to 12 hours - imagine eating a curry that was made 12 hours earlier and had been on heat for 12 hours long - sometimes they even re-used the same curry the next day

thats what i mean by you dont know what a curry is and eat pure garbage

the restaurant we bought was a buffet one also and i stopped serving starters, etc in the buffet and all the numptys complained that they wanted a buffet, rather than eating fresh food cooked especcially for them they would rather eat the crap thats been sitting there all day getting more and more burnt

also one day i told my chefs to stop putting food colouring in the chicken tikka and other food, the amount of numptys phoning up and complaining we had used normal chicken instead of chicken tikka - i even tried explaining to them that the only difference was food colouring but they obviously know much more than me and said no its not, you used normal chicken

its sad that the UK has gotten so used to eating this crap that any place that tries to do something different and sell proper food will shut down due to lack of interest and people complaining

thats not chicken - its meant to be bright illuminous orange like all the other places do it - you muppets chicken is white
