This is something I make now and again. It's reasonably healthy for fast food and kids love 'em :)

I use two thick sausages per kebab, chopped up. You could use chicken or beef instead.
Mixed salad with spring onions and tomato.
A dollop of Branston jalapeno relish and a dollop of home made garlic mayo.
Pitta bread.

mayo and sausages = reasonably healthy :eek: :p

Like I said, the mayo is home made.

1 egg
pinch of salt an pepper
1 tsp of lemon juice
pinch of mustard powder
1/4 clove of garlic
top up to 150ml of light and mild olive oil

Just blitz with a hand blender. It works best if you start the blender off at the bottom of the liquid and draw it up slowly.
Leave the garlic out for straight mayo :)

Wow, that is very white homemade mayo, good job!

Mine is always yellow (which I really don't mind TBH), I think it may be due to the large yolks in the eggs I use (and possibly because I use a little rapeseed oil in mine too).

150ml olive oil = about 1200 calories :eek::D

doesn't he say top up to 150ml with olive oil? Meaning, add all ingredients, however short it is of 150, use olive oil to make it up to that measurement?
