I decied to try my own version of this-

Chicken and rice bake. - Serves 4

Ingredients

1 or enough chicken pieces for four.

Chicken

2.

Onions

3.

Carrots.

200g/ 7oz.

Rice

Enough to make a pint and a half.

Stock Cubes

Method

method: 1. If your chicken is whole cut it into portions, see: skillsbynumbers 01. Do not worry, this is quite easy.

2. Chop your onions, see: skillsbynumbers 02. Peel and chop your carrots.

3. Put the chicken pieces, onion and carrots in an ovenporoof pot. Add the rice, stock and a couple of pinches of salt and pepper.. Put a lid on and place it in a medium oven at around 150*C. Leave for an hour and a half.

4. Check the seasoning and serve.

However my version is the following

1 chicken breast chopped up
1/2 a tin chopped tomoatoes
1 handful of rice
water
a bit of paxo
salt, pepper and some other herbs
cheese over the top

put it all in a bowl in the oven on 150

I'll wait an hour and post a pic then eat. Hopefully it will be better than the microwave chicken (so long as its cooked)

Wow. The chicken cooked and it tasted great. I forgot a couple of small potatoes were in there too

Next time if i do something similar i will add less water
