Cooking with Haircut: Chocolate Brownies

Can you make these without the nuts?, would i need to add more flour etc to compensate?. They look lovely but I'm not a fan of nuts in food :(.

Shoud be able to leave out the nut and have no issues, add another 5gs flour or so if you wish.

But thisn't my recipe

There is another special ingredient I like to add. In these parts (switzerland), it often goes by the name "Mountain herbs". The trick is to put some herbs into melted butter, simmer very gently for a few minutes, then straina dn leve to cool. I think.

Look yummy :)

You say metal spoon for folding. Yet you have a wooden spoon in the picture

AcidHell2 got it right, use a wooden spoon to stir the all of the ingredients in upto the flour then use a metal spoon to fold that in.
I kind of assumed people would figure that bit out but I guess not :p

Oooohhhhh MMMMMM!!! That looks gorgoeus. I love making chocolate brownies, esp with pecan nuts. YUMM!!! Nice to see you using quality cocoa as well as chocolate too. I'm trying to be healthy and now you've put bad thoughts into my head. DAMN YOU!!! :D

Yeah, you can definitely taste the difference if you use good quality cocoa and chocolate.
I'm attempting to be healthy too (after putting on 9lbs over Christmas ) these were made for a friend's birthday today and I managed to limit myself to just one!
