Those sliced bread dumplings they do out there are awesome. They're some kind of steamed bread dough I think.Looks great, nice recipe to try. I'm off to Prague tomorrow (weather permitting) and am really looking forward to this type of comfort food. Dumplings!
yup, they're a lot lighter than our English dumplings as they don't use suet
if you're interested in looking recipes they're called knedliky.
