Those sliced bread dumplings they do out there are awesome. They're some kind of steamed bread dough I think.

yup, they're a lot lighter than our English dumplings as they don't use suet if you're interested in looking recipes they're called knedliky.

I used to make this all the time.... no idea it was Goulash based.
