Cooking with knowlesy - Giant Jaffa Cake

Might try my hand at some pimp my snack recipes this weekend, i do like cooking every now and then, and making stupidly large chocolates is a great way to spend a lazy Sunday.

Me too, I hid the chocolate in case my mum would have some. Woke up last night and a right case of the munchies so gobbled the 100g of dairy milk :o - brought some more today though.
 
Well that turned out to be a bit of a disaster :(

Didn't have a over proof pan so used a square baking tray. No greaseproof paper in shop so used foil which made getting the cake out of the tin quite tricky resulting in it braking. The jelly had almost three hours to set and didn't set 100% so it looks like one giant square mess. Was in a complete rush doing chores, packing and organising for a trip which probably didn't help. Will put some pics up when I get to my destination. Can't help but laugh at moments like these lol

I nibble around the orange bit then down it in one.

Nice work knowlesy, that looks awesome. Now you just need to make another 11 of them to make a giant pack of jaffa cakes :cool:
