You mind reading beauty :)

I've been meaning to place an order for some 120mm fans all week as i need to replace a couple of fans in one machine, and could do with swapping out the fans in another.

It is for what are pretty good, branded fans :D

I think the last time I bought some they were about a fiver or a tenner each :)

He may well have been checking that it doesn't come with an LED :)

Is there something wrong with these fans? - It seems not Connecting them by 4 pin might even get rid of the chuffing noise that they're reported to make.

I'll take 10. :)

Edit : £19.92 including delivery. Doesn't seem right!

It is, 1.66 (ex vat price) * 10 * 1.2 (to add vat on) comes to 19.92

Erm, yes. When I said it didn't seem right, I didn't mean the site calculation of the cost. I mean them charging £1.99 for a 12cm fan with a built in fan mate, costiong less than what I'd expect to pay for the fan mate, never mind the whole thing :)

Will be ordering some of these if I can get enough posts to get the free postage as this is not something I need desperately but something I would like to get. Need a few more posts ;o

Reading more into it, these fans are pretty simply done. The switch isn't a resistor or anything, it just rewires the fan on the fly.

12v is standard, 7v means subtracting the 5V from the 12V, and 5V means using the 5V supply. The fans are voltage not PWM controlled.

The good thing about these fans is that you can connect them to the PSU molexes, for a tidier case and without switching wires over change the speed. That's better than using the motherboard headers, as when you do it makes the case very messy indeed.

Ah right :)

Very tempted at the price especially as I have a P182 - so a couple of spares would be good.

Wow, I had to double check the price there to make sure we was not selling it at the wrong price! - Great deal!

I don't understand it to be honest. At £6 they're a steal. I'm not complaining though, I won't need to buy any fans for a while :)

Fantastic price, these were ont he back of the antec 300 I just changed from had them on high and no problems :)

Could you confirm the CFM/noise?
It's either these or smokes/ambers
