Hi Guys,
Something a bit different for you. I need with ideas on what to teach a 7 year boy on the computer or at least things to show him. I'm quite new to kids and as a computer user I take most of it for granted and I'm not quite sure where to start really.
Ideally it needs to be fun stuff, doesn't need to be too serious. He's very good with one already, points and clicks and types just as quick as me, knows CTRL+C & CTRL+V etc. When I was his age nobody in my school had a computer so it's pretty impressive as it is. He was playing in publisher the other day and had a current interest in space.
One idea I had was to do a stop-motion animation with him but that's something for down the line as it would be very time consuming. He could also learn to use the camera too.
Another idea is just image manipulation and playing about. Any free software out there that could be fun, maybe something to do with a painting program (no tablet though).
Have you guys got any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated
