I have no idea what's going on but since I installed the 93.71 drivers my memory clock frequency is set to 2.4GHz as standard?

As soon as I try to clock the core everything starts to slow down and I can't reach my old core clock of 490MHz?

I used driver cleaner pro to install the drivers and did it a few times to make sure I did it right. Any help would be great because I have no idea what's going on.

Maybe the memoryspeed is double of what it actually is?

All I can say is try a different driver set and see if that is different and/or install Rivatuner ( www.guru3d.com ) and see what that says and what that overclocks to.

happened to me too:(

had to resort to older drivers

tbh these days i'm losing faith in such regular driver updates
I never see performance increases that are noticeable or changes to IQ
AND more recently they have been giving me more problems, such as very blurry text in windows and messing up clocks on my GPU

Yep that happened to me, and the overclocking test couldn't even pass with the core/ram underclocked lol.

Have reverted back to the 91.xx iirc - normal service has been resumed.

93.47 does allow overclocking. It's a bug in the CC that doubles the speed of the memory. It only shows it as doubled but it is'nt really. My 7800 GT's should have standard clocks of 1050/450 but the control panel with coolbits shows it as 2100/450. If you take your normal memory overclock and double it you should be fine. Mine is running at 2400/500 with no problems.
