Would an NH-D15 be ok or do I really have to go AIO?

What about if I got an EK Phoenix 280 or 360. Would that be better? What about noise?

eisbaer cools 8700k at 5ghz better then most AIO/CLC kits that are a lot more expensive
Dark Rock Pro 4 another good air unit, should run quieter then D15 at 100% rpm and just a tad warmer

Thanks. I still can't decide. I want my system as cool and quiet as possible without going full custom loop. I will be going for 5GHz as long as I can keep it under 1.3v.

Mine runs 5.1 at 1.345v got a good one but won't do 5.2 on anything regardless of heat .
Loosely based around Eisbaer AIO but custom built .

cool thanks. I may have a winner. The noise according to the review seems to be on par with the NH-D15.

I am still looking at reviews and still like the look of the EK predator (I know they dont make it anymore but you can still get it) or the new Phoenix MLC cooler (which is expensive but can afford)

cheers. I sort of had my heart set on the r6 or the s340. If I did go for the r6 if I went for the LT240 in stead and I bottom mounted the rad would that keep things a bit cooler inside since the front fans will still be in place?
