Hi,

Just a question on my cases cooler. It just arrived today and I noticed its not in vertically.

From the looks of it it is this way as it needs to be due to its size and the case, but I wanted to query this before I used it, just in case it is in there incorrectly

Hopefully this image illustrates this clearly enough.

Thanks.

to me it looks like its leaning towards the rear of the case, so the pipes are slightly bent.
it should be ok to use, if u are not happy, try and rma it

The cooler is a: Prolimatech Armageddon CPU Cooler w/ x2 Noiseblocker PLPS 120mm Fan inside a NZXT Phantom Enthusiast USB3.0 Full Tower Case.

I didn't install the fan, or any of the components - it's a pre-built; I only noticed as I had to open the case to remove the packaging that is put inside for transit I guess.

Cheers.

Sadly it's a shipping thing with these coolers. It's not intentional Coolers + transit are a pain in the backside.

We are aware of it and are taking measures to prevent it.

I have responded to your webnote :)

Short of removing cooler for transit the only way is fitting solid block foam all the way around it.
Way too much mass and weight for CPU socket size base and pipes to not bend and/or break something the way boxes are moved during processing and transport.
