Hey guys.

Im getting 59C under load gaming on my CPU which is Phenom II X4 965 and to have peace of mind and aswell as some overclocking (From 3.4ghz) im looking for a new cooler.

Could anyone recommend me something ? Dont want to get TOO expensive, but choose as you wish.

Also, on stock there is no way the CPU is bottlenecking my GTX 560 Ti right ? Just making sure.

i believe it is ~165mm tall

no idea about the width. its the height that was troubling me when i was looking for a processor cooler for my case.

ps, how are you getting only 59C, my 955BE gets to 64C :eek: when i use 3 cores of prime 95 on the large FFT, and furmark.

Also the 59C was after a Mafia 2 session, Your chip is getting pretty hot, I think highest safe temp from AMD is 65C

no, its 62C, hence me getting a new cooler asap.

i dont think it gets quite that hot while gaming, but its still way too much. also, i feel my room might have something to do with it, because ive just remembered that when i was at uni it peaked at 61C under the same test
 
is it the height, or the width that is bothering you? height wise i can tell you your not going get much better with a 120mm fan (160mm tall is the shortest your going to get). width wise i havent even looked at because i was far too busy complaining that everything was too tall for my case :mad:
