Yeh they are a beast of a cooler, ive been using one for the past few months and the temps have been superb with the 612S. The only reason ive recently changed to a Phanteks is because it blends in with my motherboard better as well as being a good cooler.

If you can add another fan to the other side for a push pull setup, the 612S comes with a spare bracket.

lol yup

i thought i was going to have to have move the gpu down a slot lol

had a BSOD this morn so have taken it down from 4.4 to 4.2...see how that goes

I had to get rid of a cooler once, as it completely covered the first pci-e slot, i really wanted it too as it was quite nice, just an odd shape.

Good luck with the down-clock too.

Haha, loads of room on my 775 socket, but no room at the top of the case. :D

60C is nothing for an Ivy, mine was running at 4.5GHz 1.28V under load, temps about 73C on hottest core during Prime95, but never over 60 during general use. I set like +0.090V offset to normal voltage. I could use a negative offset for 4.2GHz though, ran at lower volt than stock for 4.2 yours might too. :)

It feels just as wide as my D-14 just not as deep. My D-14 was easier to install mind, I take pleasure in seating the D-14. :D

I'm about to stick one on an i5 3570 and use it passive. I wanted to use a smaller case but decided to stick with my Eclipse 62 as I know that will have enough headroom......
