Coolermaster 840 Gap

There is a gap above the expansion slots. It looks as though there should be a blanking plate to cover it but I can't find anything that fits.

Anyone else with this case know what should cover the gap?

Looks like a 840 classic after thought.

I assumed it's for feeding through fan cables etc when using the external duct. As the positioning once a fan is fitted makes the inside edge of the fan sit flush with that gap, probably also to allow more air to be sucked out.

Thanks for that. I've found one at the bottom of the box. Won't be using it though, I'll masking tape the gap up.
