Looking to get the silencio what are peoples thoguhts on it? My only concern is that the bequiet cpu cooler I was planning to us eon my oc'd i5 apparently wont fit. ANyone recommend a good cpu cooler that fits (154mm height max).

Also, is overclocking an i5 in that case doable?
 
Pro, the smaller one about £40. Is teh R3 similar dimensions as the silencio is same size as my antec 300 and don't have space for anything bigger.

Both cases the pkey is sound proofing, will an oc'd i5 and gtx570 be ok in them?
 
Sorry ace! It does ming hard though. Too alienware for me, the other is pretty awesome looking though :) very tempted

The Fractal is a little bigger, in two dimensions but smaller in one, so I guess you'll probably have to stick with the Silencio. Not that it's a bad case though.
The Be Quiet probably won't fit in the Silencio though as you said though it would in the Fractal as it's wider. There aren't many decent coolers that are much smaller that I can bring to mind right now as an alternative.
The case should cope fine with an overclocked i5 and a 570 though.
 
Well, I could go a bit wider and a bit taller but not much at all on the depth.... How much bigger is the r3?

And do either use the usb3 header on the mobo rather than the cable out the back?

Essentially I want a subtle case with no roof/side fans which is equal to or not much bigger than an Antec 300
 
Antec 300: 458 (H) x 465 (D) x 205 (W)
Fractal R3: 442 (H) x 521.2mm (D) x 207.4 (W)
Silencio 550: 451.5 (H) x 505 (D) x 210 (D)

So the R3 is actually a little shorter, a tiny bit wider but quite a bit deeper, so probably no good. The Silencio is also narrower than the R3, oddly I thought it was the other way around. The Dark Rock Advanced is 166mm tall so it should fit in either case though.
The R3 doesn't have USB3 at all, the Silencio does but I'm not sure how it's implemented.
 
The Silencio 550 has one front USB3.0 port that uses a motherboard header - not sure how they didn't just go with 2 USB3.0 ports on that internal header tbh.
 
Edging to the silencio now. REally want to know how it would cope with an i5 clocked at 4.5 and a stock gtx 570. Limited on cooler height so would have to sue something like a gelid tranquilo unless someone can ecommend a better cooler under 154mm in height?
 
Enforcer looks good to me, and am 27, but then again, i drink like a small village. Silence is more sleek and chilled out, at the end of the day, my current case was drilled, sawned, burned, and thats the way i like it :D
