Coolest running 1tb drive?

Hi all

I'm looking for the coolest running 1tb drive for a media centre pc. Unfortunately, the case does not have direct cooling over the hard disc bay. Speed is not important. I've heard that the Samsung F1s run quite cool, would this be the best recommendation? Thanks all for any replies.

i've never put direct cooling on any hard drives (besides watercooling some for silence)

as long as there's not 3 drives all 1mm apart, there's no need..

samsung F1 is nice and quite

I have an F1 drive in a passive icybox that runs at 28 when defragging. Quiet fast and cool.
