coolest (temp wise) case for under £100

others have got cooler idles than my ambient, prob got more to do with it
loop order is largely irrelevant, it evens out after a short time
was posting pic more for the cable management side of things, lol

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to go for the antec 902 v3 and add fans later if needed , I'm already way over budget

What's the best fan config for that particular case, where would I find that info for future reference ?

Btw this is the projected system (if it makes any difference)

Core i7-2600K
Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3
8GB G Skill Ripjaws
TP-Link Wireless
1TB Samsung Hard Drive
OCZ Vertex 3 SSD
Pioneer BDRW
Corsair Enthusiast Series 750W
NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler
Windows 7 Home
Xfx double dissipation 7970

If you want a cool case and you're spending £130 then the Silverstone Raven is a no brainer.

yeah mate i really am tempted, but like i said im going for the antec one as its cheaper and i want to save money so i can get the above specs (would rather save money on the case than not be able to afford the stuff inside it)

How is it cheaper? Seems to be £130, which is actually more than the Raven.

£95 inc vat

Pretty good for cable management too. i used to have one before my Corsair 500r.

At 4.8 rock solid overclock, 5.1 benchmarking, do I care about anal cable management!

By the looks of it not really... no, but the 5850 in ur pc is not really pumping loads of heat inside the case either. Depends what you use ur pc for I guess, but for gaming gfx cards are far more important than an extra few Ghz on a cpu clock.

right guys ive another question about the antec 900 v2 case, well regarding the power supply really

i was reading reviews about it and they said that because theres no extra vent under the power supply it might be worth getting a power supply that sucks from the top and blows it out....im just wondering if either of these psu's do that

xfx 850w black or the Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 V2 850W

if this the only issue i think im definitely going for this case, i love the look of it and the usb 3 at the front could be very usefull , thanks a lot again

Yes both do, the large fans you see on them are intakes, and they exhaust out the back, some cases have an intake on the bottom of the case so you can orient your PSU to take air in directly from outside, but if your case doesnt you can just put it other way up to bring air in from the case, albeit the air will be warmer, however a decent PSU shouldnt have issues with this, neither of those will. Another option would be to add an intake hole yourself, quite an easy mod, if you were that way inclined

Cheers for the reply, are both of those power supply's ample then ? Which would u go for, not much in it price wise
And nah I wouldn't dare cut the case tbh, going to get the system built for me
