I'm looking at cases to build an HTPC in and notice a number of them don't seem to offer much in the way of cooling for HDDs.
Most tower cases seem to have fans placed so they blow over the HDD bays, but not so much with HTPC type cases.
I was planning to use a Seagate Momentus XT drive and I'm wondering, do I need to have a fan blowing over it to cool it?
