Hi
[System info in sig]
Im new to the overclocking world and im looking at overclocking my CPU and my GPU.
can anybody recommend what cooling parts i will need?
The 4870 is the sapphire one and has some heat pipes on it. I have the standard cooling unit on the Q6600 at the moment and a 120mm and a 100mm fan on the case but space to fit another fan.

I've been watching the temperatures and the Q6600 is normally between 36 - 46 degrees and the 4870 sits at about 45 degrees but can reach 70 degrees if i hammer it.

probs got a budget of about 100 pounds give or take

also any information about how to go about overclocking would be really great and anything else i should know, eg does it reduce life expectancy of parts etc. :)

(pc normaly used for music production work and some gaming)

Thankyou

this one .. not great but ive done away with the power supply and put in a 650 watt one in.
