Hi all,
Recently upgraded my system and im having a few problems. Im on sk.939 (3800x2 @2.6), i was going to get a 4850 but a second-hand 4870 came along for not a lot more so went with that.
I'm slightly worried how close the graphics card cooler is to my chipset hsf. Temps are around 55-60 load (chipset), I did have a heat sink on it before (sli version) so I could have used that with the new graphics card but it sits very close to the card air-intact so it would have been sucking hot air in so went back to the stock chipset cooler instead.
I have another fan on order which I will use as an exhaust removing some of the hot air, is there anything else I could do to drop the temps?
1 more question, how many 120mm fans (yateloon), is it safe to run directly from motherboard?
