Coolmaster 212 evo

Hi,

ive recently had a Coolermaster 212 evo fitted onto my cpu and from looking at it in my case its not level, the top right corner is higher than the left (basicly on a slant). It runs with no problems and the temps seem fine but im just wondering if this is normal? Or could cause problems

It should be level. What are your temps if you stress test?

Check that the motherboard is secured at each corner. Cooler might be parallel to mb and mb may not be parallel to case side.

I havent done a stress test yet but when i was playing an online game for a few hours lastnight i checked the temps and they where all around 40-45c

Here is a picture i took of it for you to see, its only slighty on a slant as you can see the top right of the heatsink is a little lower

Oh you mean the heatsink is twisted slightly. That's fine. Just as long as it is mounted properly and sits perfectly on the CPU, there shouldn't be a problem.
