When my system boots up its always starts with a loud noise then after a while its steady, anyone know why this is happening?
If you apply oil to the bearings it will reduce the noise but shorten the life of the bearings significantly. If its the bearings you need a new fan.clarkdevlin said:So what your saying is inside the system it needs to warm up then it starts to relax? when i start it up it sounds like a loud motor goes high then lowers, when the load noise goes its perfectly fine. It could be the bearings, could you apply some kind of liquid in the bearings so they dont make the noise?
Thats because it has a fan controller, so thats the fan controller starting up.young lad said:My x1800xt does this it just spinds at 100% then goes back down at boot for about 5 seconds.
Depends on the graphics card.this_is_gav said:Yeah, it's normally the graphics card working out where it's at. So long as it settles down within 10 seconds it's nothing to worry about at all.
