There’s previous of that in the states. They could be doing it to protect the protestors.

But surely a car could come from anywhere so they would need to slash the tyres of every single car/ van / Lorry etc for miles

This was already discussed in the big thread.

They are sheriff department, the trousers give it away, Larping in army surplus tactical gear. (confirmed to be true) apparently.

I also agree its probably something to do with them being used as "weapons" but that doesn't fit the narrative like a "they are in charge /flex" so who knows?

They slashed them in Car Parks that were behind the poolice lines....

Including those they knew belonged to journalists.
