What's the best to use to replica a hdd?

I tend to use acronis trueimage, but if your looking for free software I have also tried clonezilla and find it to be pretty good

I stopped using Acronis when 2 versions in a row suddenly stopped working and their technical support came up with no solution.

The cynic inside me thinks I was just subject to their annual upgrade policy!

I now use DriveClone and love it...
