Copy me and learn, just like magic!

I can do the Sybil cut and more, this is fancy for how basic it is which is why I am showing it here as it will be completed by Friday, with a few more photos.

Are you a magician too? You seem to know some basics however regarding cutting for magicians only is not the case as Casinos will use this a lot, maybe not so much the flourishing like what we are doing now but basic cuts are usually cruical to stop cheating.

More of an enthusiast, although I have a friend in London who works professionally as a magician. I can do a basic false cut but nothing too fancy (so I'll be following your tutorial).

On cutting, sure casinos will often let a patron cut the cards before dealing but that is mostly for the patron's peace of mind otherwise people like you or I would ask the croupier how we knew he hadn't done a false shuffle.

But even with a cut, if you have someone working with you you can still cheat at a private table (if you're as good as Paul Wilson that is)

4:15 for shuffle and cut

Was meant purely jocularly and really I hardly see anything wrong with it, I apologize.

I forget this is a family forum sometimes and previously I have posted on forums for adults, so am accustomed to much more abrasive comments than what I said.

That's my bad then :o

I'm really not good at getting stuff like that, I'm rather gullible for one thing. I blame the parents

Err where's today's photo?!

Been busy this weekend, now trying to catch up :D

Well done to those so far! This is the hard bit now, you need to learn to pivot/rotate the cards while on your fingers. So your right hand needs to turn away from you. Like this:

You see my left thumb in the first picture, it is grabbing that pack of cards close to the thumb so you move the pack into the other hand essentially!

Bah, watched too much close up magic from a true Master at Ini.

Still didn't get see how he did it after 4 years :p
