I need a way of copying two partitions (150Gb Windows 7 x64, 80Gb Windows XP) from a 500Gb HD to a 300Gb Velociraptor as the 500Gb is being sold.

I need to copy the Windows 7 Partition over first, expand it to 200Gb, then copy over the XP partition to the remaining 100Gb.

(Assuming 1000 instead of 1024 for easiness sake).

How do I do this!?

Cheers.

Something like Macrium Reflect to make the disk images, then simply use GParted or similar to set up the partitions on the new HDD. Macrium may even be able to set up the partitions for you - but can't remember off-hand.

The disk images are the size of the actual data, rather than the full partition, so you shouldn't have an issue putting them onto a new HDD if it is smaller.

Sweet.

Does this allow for Disk to Disk copying too? So I don't have to bother with imaging it?
