I am running TAT in Vista - have been running load test for about 5minutes now and both cores are between 55-60degrees.

56 on my Oc'd E6600, just remember that in regular use you will NEVER get anywhere near that figure. The toughest game I can throw at my CPU is either Oblivion or GTR2 and it barely reaches 45C after two hours of play.

I am not really fussed about the temps tbh so long as they are within what Intel recommends. What is the top temp they recommend?

Throtte at 80C thermal limit at 85, maximum recommended sustainable temp 65.
