November 16 (9 pm Pacific Time) - Worldwide product release

November 17 - Intel press release and launch events

November 17 (5 pm Pacific Time onwards) - OEM press release and launch events

Processor prices look good... mobo and memory prices don't!!!

I'm hoping that the mobo prices on OcUK a couple of weeks ago had serious mark-up, and real prices will be much lower. Also, new DDR3 memory with lower voltages will be launched wholesale when i7 is launched... hopefully these will also come with lower prices.

I expect them to be even higher. The exchange rate has crashed big time. It's at $1.74 at the moment but was down to $1.65 the other day. They also reckon it's going to get worse.

Vote with your wallet, I certainly wont be going near it until a board is £100 or less same goes for cpu too.
Hopefully a p55 chipset
