Core i7 Upgrade Path

Hi, running a X58 see sig so was thinking of upgrading to Haswell or X79 later this year, but got a good deal on a Asus 670 4GB GPU, now aiming to upgrade when Haswell-E multi 8 cores are released + DDR4.

Get a 670 good deals atm and what for Haswell-E multi 8 cores.
 
Budget ~£400.

To be honest at the moment it's still very fast but was wondering if it's worth upgrading to Haswell.

I play BF3 at around 60 - 80 fps 1920 x 1200 on near ultra settings.

No point in jumping to haswell.. If anything upgrade your 470 to a GTX 670/680 - GTX 770.. :D
 
I wouldn't touch the CPU, I would replace the GPU...
since you can play with your card, I think you should wait 2 more months and see what AMD comes with, because the price of the actual GPUs probably will go down.
 
Another vote for a new gpu, a single wf gtx 670 was a nice little upgrade for me from sli'd gtx 470's on an i7 920 at 4.2ghz. Ran bf3 maxed at 1920x1200 with an oc on the card. Still have an i7 930 based second rig, and tbh with a single card the game plays the same on it as it did on a 3570k and a 3770k.
