Core temp is crashing my pc

Hello there,

anybody is having problems with core temp?

when I start the progam many times my system shut down :confused:

i didn't have the problem before!!!

Yes, 0.95 crashes my Opteron 185 box as well.
0.94 was fine - although at that time I had an X2 3800+ in there

i had the newest version of core temp and it was also crashing. I was running orthos at the same time so i was a bit worried lol that it was my pc.

ahh, i ran it on my laptop and it kept shutting down. Thought it was a coinsidence that it was only when coretemp was running, never crashed but shut itself down....noticed the temp of one core went to 133c for a split second maybe this is why.

Newest version of coretemp (about a week ago) would randomly reboot both c2d rigs I have here, even at defaults.
Suffice to say, coretemp.exe is now in the recycle bin

i have the same problem with my system, only happens when ive had my PC running for a while, glad its not a hardware fault. now using intel TAT

same here system would just shut down for no reason ,turned coretemp of and no problems since .

For A64's use Central Brain Identifier or A64Info_Beta. Both just as accurate as CoreTemp, and as an added bonus they won't shut your pc down when run on its own / with Orthos or SP2004 already running.
