core temp jimping?

Hi uphill, its well within the limits so i wouldnt worry too much.

That temp is at idle I assume. What are the temps like under load?

Absolutely nothing to worry about mate, your temps will always jump around, surely you don't think they were supposed to stay exactly the same when idle did you?

I would not worry, temps well within range.
What software are you using to monitor temps.

thanks for the quick responses. this forum is like having a technician at my beck and call - i am using core temp....which is a great little program....i had thought that the temps should be 5 degrees apart otherwise the paste isnt even or something..

Nah. The calibration on the thermal diodes is pretty shocking, cores reading different values is the standard.

At a guess its jumping around because your computer is at varying load. Idle temperatures can generally be completely ignored, it's load temperatures which can cause concern
