Core Temp v0.96 released

Well after reading the release note it looks like 0.96 is correct and 0.95 was lying
Would certainly explain why I have trouble getting past 3.2Ghz, even so my load temps are now a whole 20c higher which I have a hard time beveling.

You notice the Tj Max has also increased by the exact amount your temps have :)

Edit: Temps are the same on mine still.

@Raikiri - I notice your VID is 1.275V whereas mine is 1.225V - I didn't know that they varied by that much.
my vid 1.200..there have been suggestions that lower vids imply lower voltages required for same speed, so less heat and so (tenuously) more overclock ability. although its dangerous to generalise from the one to the many my vcore for 3.2ghz stable is 1.16.

Is that on a 2180 or a Q6600? I have a Q6600 with a 1.2VID.

Intel thermal analysis tool shows my temps as 39 & 40

New Core temp shows them as 50 & 53

Speed fan shows the temp as 33 & 35

All idle temps!!

Looks like Cor Temp is way out!!
