Core vs Memory Overclock

They was a thread on here not long ago showing the difference between overclocking the Memory vs core but I can seem to find it.

Do any of you guys have a link?

If not I heard that on the AMD 7000 series cards they is no point in overclocking the memory? and its better to just overclock the core?

Just done a heaven 3.0 test

FPS 77.7
1957

165.1

1100/1250
FPS 63.1
1590
14.1
127.1

Massive difference in that test.

settings
Render: direct3d11
Mode: 1920x1080 4xAA fullscreen
Shaders: high
Textures: high
Filter: trilinear
Anisotropy: 4x
Occlusion: enabled
Refraction: enabled
Volumetric: enabled
Tessellation: normal
