Hello guys.

I want to build a computer for my brother with a budget of about £200. It'd be nice if this PC could have a C2D CPU in it, I know it'd have to be a lowish CPU.

Things that are needed :

Case
PSU
RAM
HDD
CPU

Things that aren't needed :
Motherboard (Got a spare Asrock 4coreDual-SATA2.)
Graphics card (Got a spare X1950 Pro.)

This computer will be used for moderate gaming, but nothing too heavy.

Cheers

what about DVD-RW drive?

Thanks very much guys - Forgot to mention about the DVD-RW. I have a spare one of those too.

One thing - Will the PSU's that come with those cases be enough for the X1950?

Wouldn't it be a better idea to spend the extra money and get a better PSU?

Cheers

Probably, but don't quote me on that! Everything else is pretty low-power so I reckon it'll be OK.

Basically, yes always. But you might struggle to fit a better one into a £200 budget.

Here's what I'd get if you want a better PSU. You can shave off a few quid on HDD and RAM and even processor if you want.
